If you’ve made a card CustomCards.biz, we’d love to see it – so please send it in! Just email it to Mike@CustomCards.biz.
Here is my first attempt
and here is my ‘Snowpeople Special.’
I’m sure you can do better, so don’t be shy about sending in your own card.
Here is the first submission
from someone identifying him/herself only as ‘M’.
Sally from Rotherhithe in London sent in this card
which I think has a really good choice of colours.
Here’s the card I made for my friend Emily
, the card I made for my cousin
, one I made for my friend John
, one I made for a Japanese friend of mine
, one I made for my friend Miki
and one I made for someone called ‘M’.
I don’t claim to have a lot of artistic talent – so please have a go and see if you can do better. So far we’ve had a contribution from Sally, Colin and Alex from Rotherhithe
, then that same Colin was sent two cards, one from someone called Maggie
, and one from me.
Here are some get well cards I made for my friends (one of which is partly in Japanese).
Our first Halloween card
was sent in by Sally from Rotherhithe, who later also contributed this masterpiece
. We’ve now had another contribution
from the mysterious ‘M’. I also sent this card
and this one
to my friends.
So far we’ve only had one person any Japan postcards – Sally from Rotherhithe who seems to be our biggest fan. (Thanks Sally!) Her first card
is very free form, while her second card
makes very clever use of cherry blossoms. In Japan people send new year cards rather than Christmas cards, so here’s a new year card (in Japanese) I sent to all the fans of the website Unmissable Japan.
Sanae Toda and family sent this card to a friend for her birthday.
In Japan girls send their sweethearts chocolates and cards on Valentine’s day, and the recipients then return the favour a month later by giving cards and white-coloured sweets on ‘white day’, March 14th. Who the recipient was is a secret, but here’s the card I sent this year.
The first safari card submitted to this gallery was sent as a birthday greeting
and this inspired me to send my own safari birthday cards:

Perhaps unsurprisingly, no one has sent in a card that they actually sent from space yet, but we have had one space card that was sent for a birthday.
Our first Australia card was also a birthday card.
I sent my brother in law this Easter birthday card, as his birthday coincided with Easter this year.
Much as I wanted to, I didn’t manage to go on holiday to Antarctica this year, but I do like penguins, so I sent two of my friends penguin cards for their birthdays.
I also sent a penguin housewarming card.
I’ll leave you with one of my favourite mottoes: “Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted.”
And here’s a bonus to thank you for reading right to the bottom.
